Take to the Streets

Take To The Streets is part of our mobile outreach where we seek out homeless and transient individuals to provide food and clothing as well as information for obtaining long-term solutions and resources for getting off of the street. Comfort Café cooks and provides the hot meals that we use for our Take To The Streets team, as well as for the various resource seminars we hold throughout the year.
Future Goal______
Our future goal for the Take To The Streets department is to see a significant increase in supplies and our ability to immediately remove people from the streets. We intend to dispatched mobile vans to pick up the homeless to escort them to shelters and even sponsored self-care appointments to prepare them for job interviews. Those who obtain jobs or need transport to appointments will receive help from our various transport vans.
