Mobile Market Food Pantry

A Sure Foundation would like to thank Food Bank of Northwest Indiana and their Mobile Market pantry for coming out and helping us assist hundreds of people in need of food. We were able to serve 113 households totaling about 435 individuals! It was a lovely day and we look forward to the next time we can do this for the community! ASF will keep everyone posted on future dates and times.

8th Grade Graduation Ceremony

We understand the strain and difficulty the last 3 years has had on our lives. Chiefly affected during the crisis were our schools in which students and staff learned to navigate education in a way never seen before. The 8th grade graduating class of 2023 toiled through unprecedented health risks, mental/physical burn out, and constant concern for the future, but in spite of it all they came out on top! We wanted to acknowledge how proud we were of their perseverance and achievement by providing the graduation ceremony they unfortunately would have missed otherwise.

Free School Supply Giveaway: Hammond Public Library

A Sure Foundation hosted our Free School Supply Giveaway at the Hammond Public Library. Attendees were able to receive not only school supplies for their children, but also clothing and free haircuts for students. Huge “Thank You” to Blue the Barber and his colleagues from Impact Barber Shop for partnering with us to make this event a memorable success! We are also highly grateful to Dominos for supplying delicious pizza and cheesey bread for all those in attendance!

Free Giveaway: Flagstone Village

A Sure Foundation hosted our Free Giveaway Event in which the residents of Flagstone Village and the other surrounding complexes received free items. We gave away clothing for men, women, and children, small household appliances, and toys. There was also food and refreshments for everyone to enjoy as well!

Thanks to everyone who volunteered and helped make this event possible. We are ecstatic about all of the families that came out and got much needed items for their households.
